Before the wedding, the UP groom jumps in front of the train and dies.

According to police on Saturday, a 30-year-old groom allegedly committed himself by jumping in front of a train close to a railway station here when his wedding procession was traveling to Azamgarh.

The incident occurred late Friday night in the Amethi area on the Lucknow-Varanasi railway segment.

The police claim that on Friday night, the wedding procession of Ravi (30), a resident of Salon in the Rae Bareli district, was traveling to Azamgarh.

In the vicinity of the Gauriganj police station, Ravi is accused of jumping in front of a cargo train close to Bani railway station.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem test, according to senior police official Shyam Narayan Pandey’s statement on Saturday.
