Jasmin Bhasin became well-known following her time on Bigg Boss 14. The actress is grounded and has a lighthearted attitude despite her fame. In a recent interview, she talked about the difficulties she encountered as a child and explained why she places such a high value on money. She recalls how difficult it was to make ends meet in Mumbai because of the high expense of living there.
“I always knew money was very important for me,” Jasmin Bhasin stated in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. Since my undergraduate days, I had desired to make money because I have witnessed my family’s struggles. I first realized the value of money and how it can literally save a life when my father was very ill. God has revealed me the way. Aur jab mujhe opportunity mili, mujhe laga, bas, theek hai. I am going to work hard now.”
Jasmin recalled her difficult times in Mumbai, when she frequently went without food and found it difficult to pay her rent. “How would I even eat—Maggi, frozen paratha, or whatever else was on hand? You do not feel awful about anything when you are having difficulties. You do not feel like life is unfair or anything since everything is a part of the process and the trip. Therefore, I was not unhappy or anything; in fact, I was enjoying the process.
Jasmin acknowledged that her father’s advice served as a beacon of hope amid trying times. “My father once told me, ‘Time teaches everything; just do not give up,'” she said. Thinking back on her hardships, she continued by saying that although life was not perfect at the time, she was confident that things will get better eventually.
Jasmin Bhasin has been in a number of popular TV series, such as Dil Se Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, and Naagin 4. In addition to her well-known time on Bigg Boss, she demonstrated her abilities on Khatron Ke Khiladi, a reality show. Alongside Gippy Grewal, Jasmin debuted in a Punjabi film in 2022 with Honeymoon. Alongside her partner Aly Goni, she is scheduled to make a surprise appearance on Laughter Chefs 2.
