Terming the marriage of Dilip Ghosh, the former West Bengal BJP president, to his party colleague Rinku Majumdar as a “personal matter”, BJP leader Rahul Sinha said that there is no reason for “other people to take so much of a headache”.
Sinha stated, “This is his personal matter,” according to ANI. Other individuals should not have to endure such a headache. “Kya karega kazi to jab miya biwi raazi?” What does it matter if he is older? People his age get married, do not they?… In addition to meeting a woman of his choosing, he thought that he ought to get married. Nobody else has the authority to comment on this. He did not discuss this issue much since he did not want to stir up too much controversy. He did not invite many people because of this. Additionally, a large number of his family members and other close friends were not present.
Ghosh remarked, “I thank everyone for their blessings,” following the conclusion of the wedding ceremonies earlier on Friday. The 60-year-old leader declared, “My personal life will not interfere with my political duties.”
He added that he had granted his mother’s long-cherished wish by getting married. Senior BJP officials also paid the newlyweds a visit to congratulate them, including Sukanta Majumdar, head of the West Bengal BJP.
Along with flowers and a message of congratulations, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also extended her best wishes.
